Tosa Washi

The Tosa Washi is a light-weight Japanese machine-made paper, 28g, with one side slightly rougher than the other. This paper is white, crisp and strong and is highly valued for its thin, yet durable nature – which has led to it being known as kagero-no-hane, or dragonfly wing. Traditionally used for wallpapers or screens, this paper can be used for relief printing, inking and drawing techniques. Tosa Washi is made of 10% kozo, 20% rayon and 70% pulp and is ph neutral.
