Why do we collect your personal data?

We will only ever collect, store, and use your personal data when we have an identified purpose and reason to do so. This policy applies to all information that is voluntarily submitted on The Company website, or by placing an order over the phone. This website collects and uses personal information for the following reasons:

Online Forms

We collect your personal information you provide to us for purchases of goods or services that we sell.

Customer Data

If you make a purchase, either by phone or online, then we will need the following information.

  • Address for delivery and billing

  • Delivery instructions.

How do we use the information we collect on you?

We use the information you provide about yourself when placing an order only to complete that order. We do not share this information with third parties except to the extent necessary to complete that order, for example, our courier firms.

We use return email addresses to answer emails we receive. Such addresses are not used for any other purpose and are not shared with outside parties. We undertake not to retain any of your personally identifiable data any longer than necessary. Data will be retained for the purposes already mentioned in this policy until such time as it becomes no longer valid, or you specially request its removal.

How do we store your data?

Security

All the personal data we process is processed by our staff in the UK. We do not store any electronic documents outside of the UK.

Electronic data and databases are stored on secure computer systems, and we control who has access to information (using both physical and electronic means). Our staff receive data protection training, and we have data protection procedures which personnel are required to follow when handling personal data.

Payment security

All electronic Intaglio Printmaker forms that request financial data will use Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) protocol to encrypt the data between your browser and our servers.

If you use a credit or debit card to make a purchase from our website, we will pass your card details to our payment provider Opoyo.  We never store card details.

Data Retention

We will only use and store information for as long as it is required for the purposes it was collected for. We continually review what information we hold and delete what is no longer required. 

Your rights

Your rights under data protection laws include the right to be informed, access, rectify, erase, restrict, and/or object to our use and processing of your personal data, as well as the right to the portability of the data.
