Carborundum Grit can be used to re-grain stones in stone lithography. It can also be mixed with adhesives such as PVA or Impasto Gel to create a gradients of tone and a sandy textured surface on collagraph plates. Grit can either be pre-mixed with adhesives or can be sprinkled on a plate that has been painted with adhesive. Carborundum Grit is available in fine, medium and coarse.
