Ironbridge Spindle Roller 38 Shore

These Nitrile Rubber (PVC) Rollers come in three different sizes and each in soft 25 shore (blue rubber), medium 38 shore (red rubber), or hard 60 shore (black rubber). Nitrile PVC has all the properties of polyurethane but will not be adversely affected by water or ultraviolet light and will not soften over time.

The smallest roller is 4” diam x 10” (10.2 x 25.4cm) length making the maximum plate size (for double inking) 10” x 12.56” (25.4 x 32cm)

The medium roller is 5” diam x 14” (12.7 x 35.6cm) length making the maximum plate size (for double inking) 14” x 15.70” (35.6 x 40cm)

The largest roller is 6” diam x 21” (15.2 x 53.3cm) length making the maximum plate size (for double inking) 20” x 18.84” (51 x 48cm)

A softer roller will ink up quickly and give softer edges to the lines that are etched, engraved or cut. The harder the roller, the crisper the lines or edges in the print will be.
