Caligo Safe Wash Etching Carbazole Violet

Caligo Safe Wash Etching inks are designed to safely and easily wash away with hot soapy water. However, these ink are oil based and will therefore handle and print like traditional oil printing inks. They have a relatively stiff consistency and wipe away evenly, giving you control over the amount of ink (plate tone) you wish to leave or remove from your plate. These inks are lightfast and are 6 or higher on the Blue Wool Scale.
