Mezzotint Rocker 0.5 inch

The Mezzotint Rockers are made with the highest quality of high carbon steel and come with a stained birch handle. By working the rocker, with a criss-cross rocking motion, over a copper or zinc plate, a burr is created on the surface. The burr will trap the ink to produce a rich velvety black tones. These 0.5 inch tools are available in four sizes, 45 (Course), 65 (Medium), 85 (Medium), 100 (Fine) and 120 (Extra Fine). Larger Rockers are available to order and any others that are out of stock can be ordered in with a week or two, just let us know.
