Polished Copper 1.2mm

This copper comes in a thickness of 1.2mm or 18 gauge.

Polished Copper plates can be used for drypoint, etching and mezzotint. A protective plastic covers one side of the plate and is easily removed.  The reverse of each plate should be coated with an acid-resistant stop-out, or cover in Fablon. Copper is a harder metal than zinc, allowing it to withstand a higher number of impressions.

Please note that all plates are cut by hand on our guillotine, so please allow a few mm off sizing.
