Boxwood endgrain is the premium choice for wood engraving, prized for its exceptional hardness and ability to hold fine detail. Each Block is cut from natural boxwood, so every piece has a unique shape, typically ranging from 2-3 inches in length and width, though sizes naturally vary. Suitable only for use with engraving tools. We recommend beginners to wood engraving don’t use boxwood, and start instead with lemon, pear or holly.
