Charbonnel Aqua Wash Etching Ink Soft Black

This ink comes in a 60ml tube. Charbonnel Soft Black has low viscosity and easy to wipe. It is very supple and relatively opaque. This ink can be used for lowering tones of the plate that are too heavily engraved.

The Charbonnel Aqua Wash range is an oil based ink that can be washed out in soapy water. These inks are solvent free and are of high quality. As these inks have a high concentration of pigments they are extremely lightfast and durable. The Charbonnel Aqua Wash can be used for all intaglio techniques, aquatint, monotypes and relief printing.
