Double Ended Burnisher

The Double Ended Burnisher has a burnisher at either end, one straight and one curved. This tool is designed to flatten burrs and polish the plate surface and can also be used for image corrections and creating tone on mezzotinted plates. This all metal tool has a less polished section between each end for slightly more grip.

This tool is very rare as they are not made anymore, so we are lucky to have the last examples of this exquisite bit of German/Swiss engineering.
