Kentonomi – Registration Chisel 15mm
£30.83 (inc. vat £37.00)
The Kentonomi has an extremely sharp and straight cutting edge and is used in carving registration marks on woodblock.
To create registration marks grip the handle with your hand, similar to holding a dagger, resting upright on the board with its cutting edge exactly at the line to be cut. Using your other hand, place your thumb behind the blade to keep it from making unnecessary movements. Then press the tool downward to make a cut about 1.5mm deep.
Please note the blade is very sharp. Cut with care. Protection for the thumb stabilising the blade is recommended.
