These beautifully coloured Lokta papers are handmade in the mountains of Eastern Nepal. The papers are made from the bark fibre of lokta, a plant which grows above 3000 metres in the Himalayan foothills and dyed in the Kathmandu valley using vegan dyes.
The Lokta plant is a sustainable and renewable resource and the dyes used meet current EU standards on effluence and toxicology.
