Mingeishi White is a classic and traditional washi favoured by Japanese artists for centuries. Each sheet of Mingeishi White has been skillfully made with a blend of 70% premium alpha cellulose and 30% kozo (mulberry) fibre. Although this paper’s surface is fairly soft and the sheet is lightweight, it exhibits superior overall strength and is highly resilient. Mingeishi is a versatile washi that is suitable for mixed media and all types of printmaking.

Awagami Fine Art Washi is made from a combination of innovative and traditional paper making techniques in Tokushima, Japan. For nearly 300 years, their mills have used eco-friendly fibres to craft Japan’s finest washi paper for artists and designers around the world. Awagami papers are extremely long lasting and 100% acid free.
