Zinc Jetplates

The Zinc Jetplates are a pre-backed zinc plate that can be used for etching with ferric, copper sulphate and nitric acid. This zinc has a satin finish on the working side and comes in a thickness of 1mm or 19 gauge. A protective peelable plastic covers one side of the plate.

Plates can be cut to size, with the first cut free of charge. Please see the Plate Cutting Fees for more details.

Please note that we cannot cut the thicker 1.5mm Zinc Jetplate as it is too thick to fit in our guillotine.

Please note that all plates are cut by hand on our guillotine, so please allow a few mm off sizing.
